Zero Hour matches are economy races with a military ending. Build order matters more than build variety: open with supply harvesters, add a second refinery before units, and scout early with a cheap fast unit to read your opponent's opening.

Army composition follows a simple rule — answer what you see, not what you fear. Anti-infantry beats infantry swarms, aircraft punish turret-less bases, and stealth units punish radar-less ones. Keep production running during fights; an army that cannot be replaced is already losing.

Superweapons and generals' powers decide late games: use them to break defenses or delete economy, never on mobile units that dodge. Defend your supply lines as fiercely as your frontline, because generals who lose income lose on a timer.
