Cheese Rolling turns the annual Gloucester downhill chaos into a ragdoll racing game: momentum is the opponent, and reading the hill beats fighting it. Before your first competitive run, do a practice tumble learning which slope sections launch you and which funnel you.

Steering while rolling is limited but real: small adjustments early prevent catastrophic redirections later. The cheese itself moves faster than sense — chase the line it takes, not the cheese visually.

Characters differ in weight and control, so experiment: heavier bodies accelerate downhill but steer worse; lighter ones recover from tumbles faster. The comedy of the wipeouts is the design, so treat each run as a story rather than a stat sheet.
