Surf looks impossible until the first clean ramp, then it becomes meditative. Keep your crosshair level with the ramp angle, strafe onto the surface, and let gravity do the steering: A for left-facing ramps, D for right-facing. Never push both keys, and never touch W.

Speed is survival. Every ramp exit either adds or removes momentum, so plan two ramps ahead: enter high on the curve, exit along the tangent line. When you fall behind the flow, take the recovery lane rather than forcing the trick ramp.

On trick sections, commit before you arrive. Deciding mid-air is how players land on railings. Learn one map's rhythm in segments, and the whole course will start to feel like one continuous turn rather than a series of emergencies.
