Plague Inc. is strategy through patience: infect quietly, evolve carefully, and only reveal symptoms when the world can no longer respond. Early game, invest in transmission and resistance; symptoms raise visibility, and visibility funds the cure before you are ready.

Adaptability beats templates: island nations need water or air transmission early; cold climates need resistance tiers; wealthy countries need drug resistance. Watch the world news ticker — it tells you which country closed borders, and your route in.

The cure meter is the real opponent: once research starts, genetic reshuffling and resistance slow it materially. In aggressive builds, time the lethal symptoms to when cure progress passes the halfway mark, not before. Patience is the whole strategy.
