Movement rewards rhythm: double jump, glide with the hoverboots equivalent, and chain strafe-shooting while airborne during fights. Ammo management is real; explore side areas for bolt caches that fund upgrades.
Puzzle gadgets (the swing-shot, the decryptor) each get tutorial rooms; do not skip them, since later areas assume fluency. Treat every dead-end as a bolt cache with extra steps.
