Inscryption's cabin section blends card battler with escape room, and both layers reward attention. At the table, learn the sacrifice economy strictly: bones bank across turns, and blood cost planning separates winning decks from hopeful ones. Sigil synergies compound — read every card acquired.

The escape-room layer feeds the card layer: items, candles, and clues found around the cabin unlock advantages at the table. Examine everything twice; the game rewards the second look.

Deck-building rule: fewer, stronger cards beat bulky variety. Trim automatically as better cards arrive, and build around one or two win conditions rather than several half-plans. When the game's later acts shift rules — and they will — treat the shift as a new game to read, not a betrayal.
