Lethal Company's loop is quota-driven scavenging: enter facilities, grab scrap, return before the ship leaves, and survive the moons' residents. Group role discipline matters: one scans and navigates, others haul, and everyone watches stamina before committing deeper.

Facility navigation rewards route memory within a single run: loop back to the entrance rather than pushing new wings when loaded heavy. Monsters have specific counters — some flee light, some punish sound, some punish sight — so learning two or three responses beats panicking uniformly.

Quota pressure escalates deliberately; agree as a group when a moon's difficulty no longer matches your gear. The comedy of emergent deaths is the design — the game wants stories, and it earns them.
