Stamina is the currency of survival: budget climbing segments, rest before committing to chains, and always identify the next rest point before leaving the current one. Carry weight vs. speed is a genuine trade; someone should carry the group's shared supplies efficiently.

Communication about hazards beats reaction: calling out wind changes, falling rock zones, and cold segments lets the group pace together. Solo runs are possible but the design sings with two to four players arguing cheerfully about routes.
