Diablo's browser port keeps the descent through the church, catacombs, caves, and hell intact, so pace yourself like the original intends: clear rooms methodically, keep town portal scrolls, and never open two dangerous directions at once. Corridors are your friend; open courtyards are where packs surround you.

Class choice defines the loop. Warrior plays melee scrapping with healing potions as insurance; Rogue kites with bows and controls distance; Sorcerer trades fragility for devastating spells once mana holds out. Lean into the identity instead of fighting it.

Identify everything before equipping it, keep one resistance-oriented item per element, and treat unique items with suspicion until appraised. The game rewards patience: every level below is survivable if you leave with more than you arrived with.
