The multiplayer Super Mario 64 projects preserve the original's movement vocabulary: long jumps from run, triple jumps with rhythm, wall kicks chained between surfaces. Practice in the castle grounds until the long-jump into wall-kick chain is automatic — everything else builds on it.

In shared-world multiplayer, coordinate star targets rather than competing for every star: split across paintings covers more ground per session. Communication about open doors and unlocked caps saves duplicated effort.

Movement physics differ slightly from original hardware in some builds, so relearn tricky slides (the princess's secret slide record, Tik-Tok Timing precise jumps) with fresh eyes. The joy survives translation; the muscle memory partially does.
