SCP: Containment Breach builds dread through procedural facility layouts and enemies that require different responses — blinking at SCP-173, looking away from 096, running from everything else. Learn the blink meter's rhythm early; stamina management around it decides survival.
The facility's procedural generation means memorizing layouts fails; instead, memorize item logic — keycard tiers, gas mask locations, the document codes — and route accordingly. Save often at checkpoints the build provides.
When an SCP breaches containment nearby, decide fast: 173 punishes line of sight broken badly, 096 punishes looking at its face, and 106 punishes standing still in its path. The tension is the design; headphones recommended, heart rate optional.
