About MePlayable

MePlayable is an independent catalog of classic PC games, console ports and fan projects that you can play directly in a web browser — without downloads or installers.

What we do

Many great games now run in the browser thanks to open-source engine reimplementations, recompilations to WebAssembly and fan-made remakes. They are scattered across dozens of small websites, often without instructions. MePlayable collects them in one place, in 22 languages, and explains for every game what it is, how to start it, which controls to use and what to expect from the browser version.

We do not host game files. Every “Play” button leads to the website of the project that runs the game, and each page says clearly which site that is.

Who is behind the site

MePlayable is created and edited by APSide, a long-time PC gamer who selects the projects, checks that they work and writes and updates the game pages. Community features — comments, suggestions and the forum — are moderated before posts appear.

How games get into the catalog

  • A project must run in a regular desktop browser without installing software.
  • We open and test it ourselves before listing it — see how we check games.
  • We describe honestly whether it is an official release, a port, a recompilation or a fan project.
  • Listings are never paid for, and hosts cannot buy a better position.

Independence

MePlayable is not affiliated with any game publisher or developer. Game names and artwork are used to identify the games we describe. If you are a rights holder, read our copyright policy.
