Advance Wars By Web (AWBW) is a free fan-run site that recreates the rules of Nintendo's Advance Wars tactics series for online play. You command infantry, tanks, artillery, aircraft and ships on grid maps, capture cities for income and use CO Powers to swing battles.
Games are asynchronous, so you can take your turn whenever you like, and there are thousands of community maps, leagues, tournaments and a ranked ladder. It runs entirely in the browser and works on phones too. It is a fan project, not affiliated with Nintendo or Intelligent Systems.
