Hollow Knight (2017) by Team Cherry is an atmospheric action-platformer set in Hallownest, a fallen kingdom of bugs beneath the town of Dirtmouth. You explore an interconnected map, buy charts from the cartographer Cornifer, and unlock abilities like the dash and wall-jump that open new routes.
Combat is precise and demanding, with more than 40 bosses, and charms let you customise your build. Dying leaves your Shade behind with your Geo, so careful play matters. This browser link is an unofficial web port; a gamepad is ideal, otherwise use the arrow keys, Z, X and C.

How to play Hollow Knight in your browser

- Wait while the game files load. The first start can take from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on your connection; later starts are faster because the browser caches the files.
- Click inside the game window so it captures the keyboard and mouse, then switch to fullscreen (F11 or the host's fullscreen button).

What to expect from the browser version
The browser version of Hollow Knight is an independent web project — a port, recompilation or fan remake — hosted on truffled.lol. It is not an official release from Team Cherry, and MePlayable does not host any game files: we describe the game and link to the project.
Because the game runs inside a browser tab, some features of the 2017 original may be missing or work differently: online modes, cutscenes, saves, mods and graphics options depend on the build. If something doesn't work, check the host's own notes.
Requirements
