Missions fail on timers frequently, so scout destinations before accepting difficult ones: know whether the drop-off crosses bridges that raise during chases. Keep a fast car and full armor before randomized rampage missions.

The game's wanted system escalates hard at three stars: lose pursuit through garage paint shops and alley shortcuts, not straight-line speed. On foot, alleyways are survival; the streets belong to the cops at high heat.
